Over a hundred years ago...
The King of Thieves was captured in a failed attempt to kill the Hylian King and usurp the throne. As punishment, he was ordered to be executed by the Ancient Sage spirits, but as this order was carried out, through some divine jest, the evil Gerudo was gifted with the Goddesses’ power and revived.
Breaking free of his restraints, the dark lord drew the weapon of his demise from his chest, his vile laugh filling the air as he prepared to kill his executioners. However, this short moment of reprieve was the King’s downfall, as the Sages managed to open a portal to another world behind him. The void the portal created began to pull at him, slowly drawing him towards its depths, proving beyond even the Goddesses’ power to prevent.
The last act of the King of Evil before he disappeared from time was to launch the Sage’s Sword into the portal’s originator, piercing the very center of the Mirror of Twilight, but this proved to be worthless, as the damage was merely superficial, and the blade was quickly pulled into the void with its new owner…
The world has since lived in peace, battles and wars are small and short, fights becoming a mere training exercise of caution. People remain alert, prepared, but relaxed and comfortable.

As you can tell, this is a Legend of Zelda Roleplay site, and I'm sure those of you who have good eyes can tell its based on the Twilight Princess game, but expanded and with a twist. We like to think of our site as a "Fantasy/Zelda RP", the knowledge of Zelda required is minimal~ You are able to claim canons from the game, as well as make original characters, get involved with the plot if you wish, and roleplay to your hearts content. ♥
Gripping my suitcase tightly to my chest, I swayed from side to side as the car swerved in and out of traffic. Peering out the window at the snow covered pastures, I sighed loudly and turned my gaze to Poppuri, my kitten, still sleeping in her box. My parents spoke casually in the front seats as I sulked in the back. They were sending me to some unknown acadamy at least four hours away from my own home. This was crazy, absolutely crazy. They agreed that this would be a great expearience for me, but I begged to differ. I was a senior and again they were ripping me from my school, even if I didn't have anything holding me back there anyway. Friends were forieign to me, at least in the last four years.
They were driving me to an academy named Catalpa. A riding academy, horses were the last thing I wanted to see. I hadn't ridden a horse since I was five and I hurt myself trying it out anyway. Sure I loved horses, but from the side lines. When I was growing up I had horse wallpaper, horse bedsheet and pillows, horse plushies, and horse everything. But riding a horse was a different story. My parents figured they'd send me to Catalpa so I can grow more independant without them around and I can get ready for the real world. I sort of didn't want to though, but I couldn't change their minds. The only perk they used as an excuse to get me here were the horses and they wanted me to reminisce about my childhood dream. I'm 18 so childhood dream were nothing to me now.
Grantbury was a nice, small town and it looked quite the cozy place. I pulled the brochure to the school out of the seat pocket and flipped through the pages. The winds carried dust of the present time into her squinting orbs as she led her golden tainted friend across to the indoot arena.Knowing she could have gone through the buildings to get to it, she didn`t want the attention to shift towards her flinty and ice cold gazes at the attention she might get, nice or not.Stifling a sudden sneeze, she braced herself onc emore and lurched towards the door.Cracking it, she slipped inside and flipped on the lights.Uncupping her hands from Sunstar`s orbs, she let the mare take in her surroundings.Uncinching the saddle from her back, Bella knew if she got on her without letting her look around she would be on the ground in the next five seconds.Patting her satin soft shoulder, she let her free.Watching her roll then perform a series of corkscrew bucks, a race around was some fun.Smiling slightly at her equine friend, she pulled out her Ipod. Turning it to Bleed it Out by Linkin Park, she nodded her head into the beat and watche dher horse.The volume turned to its max, she couldn`t hear anything.Seeing Sun stop and look toward sher, she clicked softly to her and let her come near.Putting the saddle back on her and cinching up, she swung aboard and immediately asked for a slow canter.Getting it almost immediately, she closed her orbs for a second and clenched her teeth together as she sung herself out of the saddle to hang on the side, leg hung in the sturrip and arm free as they went in a circle.Feeling free, she swung back into it and let her horse perform some easy figure eights at a cow jog.
